Thèmes de recherche :

Etude du comportement des sols : rhéologie des sables et des argiles en cinématique irotationnelle et avec rotation des axes, des petites (ondes, pseudo-linéarité) aux grandes (rupture) déformations

Etude du comportement thermomécanique des liants hydrocarbonés et des matériaux granulaires traités aux liants hydrocarbonés, et étude des écoulements dans les enrobés drainant.

Plus généralement : rhéologie des matériaux du génie civil, prise en compte des effets irréversibles, de la température, de leur caractère évolutif et des divers couplages existants.
 Les travaux entrepris concernent principalement les sols et les matériaux granulaires traités aux liants hydrocarbonés, mais également les bétons, la terre, les géocomposites, les milieux stratifiés, les polystyrènes,...
 L'approche expérimentale étant essentielle pour l'étude des matériaux, les aspects expérimentaux et modélisation sont associés. Des prototypes et systèmes d'essais innovants et originaux ont été conçus.
