The Tribology and System Dynamics Laboratory (LTDS, UMR 5513 CNRS) and the Building and Civil Engineering Laboratory (LGCB) are involved in a project to improve the structure of civil engineering at Lyon/Saint-Etienne.
The Tribology and System Dynamics Laboratory (LTDS) at ENTPE is composed of two teams
- Geomaterials and Sustainable Construction (GCD)
The work of the members of GCD (ENTPE) extends to buildings, underground spaces and tunnels, infrastructure, works of art, geotechnical works, dykes and dams and ecomaterials.
- Dynamics of Complex Systems (DySCo)
The members of DySCo (ENTPE) work on the dynamics of structures and materials, nonlinear dynamics and passive control.
The Building and Civil Engineering Laboratory (LGCB), and in particular P2E (Physics and Perception of Environments), addresses engineering issues while taking perception into consideration
Its members work on multi-exposure noise pollution indicators, glare indicators, the effects of light on biological rhythms and the visual appearance of objects.
Interactions between the auditory and visual sensory processes are also studied.
