Joining ENTPE means being part of a community on a human scale: 700 students, in addition to the students of the Lyon School of Architecture (ENSAL), with whom we share an open, welcoming campus, with high-quality sports facilities. This community also includes the School’s 6 research laboratories plus faculty members and staff.

You will discover here all the fields of study and careers in connection with urban engineering: construction, infrastructure, transport, water and urban policy. You will have access to in-depth scientific and technical training, in which student-led projects play a large part and which also incorporate themes in connection with economics, management and communications.

You will be free to choose from a wide range of courses, whether on the graduate engineering program, as part of a double degree or as part of a complementary course, either within the School or in one of its partner institutions: double degrees in engineering and architecture, 3rd year in another institution in France or abroad, Master’s degree, etc.

You can choose to study with “non civil servant” status, leading to employment in the private sector or in a local authority, or with “civil servant” status, providing you with an income during your studies and a career at the heart of the civil service.

You will have access to a particularly rich student life thanks to the range of student-run clubs and societies, and will be able to take part in the organization of events throughout the year (gala, theatre festival, careers fairs, sporting events, etc.).

All within easy reach of the city of Lyon.
